Been thinking about this period a lot recently. I think the impact of this runs across all areas of production at that time, including miniatures and the evolution of the ‘Eavy Metal style.

Stunning work on a classic! I’ve a good few ‘real’ Brets from the period too. The whole range was beautiful IMO

Thanks! Exactly. I think he was originally sculpted for that range, as were a lot of the others (some of the same dollies). Likely ended up at Foundry during Bryan’s exit. Those late 3rd Brets clearly lacked some variety (not to mention the super quick paint jobs the studio did for White Dwarf).

Chaos warrior, halfling and wizard. I ended up with those figures and I think all through this.

Amazing. Pretty sure the writer didn’t know where that comment was going to go and just rode it out to the bitter end. Got to admire that devil may care attitude in some ways … The video itself was class!

Founded by Brian Ansell of Citadel Miniatures fame, and now run by his family. A lot of those ranges switched to Foundry when he sold up. Highly recommend the Hundred Years War Perry range - some rare ex Bretonnian sculpts in there (ghosts of their slotta tabs on some of the castings …)
