So proud of Hannah Pettit, who came to us on work experience from Southend High School for Girls a few years ago and has just had a film review published by The Evening Standard. She's incredibly talented and I hope she'll keep writing for MM!
Last week Hannah Pettit, EMC's social media content creator took part in the BFI LFF Critics Mentorship Programme. We're so proud she won a place on this prestigious programme for budding film critics. Here's what she wrote for The Standard as part of the programme www.standard.co.uk/culture/film...
No Other Choice at LFF: this delirious satire deserves Oscar buzz
This elegant black comedy from Park Chan-wook is a bitingly relevant portrait of pride and self-worth in our corporate hellscape

10 new Media/Film teachers graduated their PGCE course with EMC & @goldsmithsuol.bsky.social Such a great group - so hard working and committed (two of them even had 100% attendance- for a PGCE!?) I've been staggered and grateful for their professionalism & good humour. We wish them all the best!

One of my favourite jobs is helping commission and edit pieces for @mediamagemc.bsky.social but this was even more fun than usual. Thanks to @rmac.bsky.social for talking to us about how Elon Musk broke Twitter and why Media students should be thinking about who has the power in the online world.
