I like how NPR fact checked the made up stat thrown at the end and not, like, the central premise of the tweet. It’s not offensive to Christians. The Pope *himself* is saying the same things as Rev. Woolf.

I genuinely like Cuban but billionaires need to try to be part of the solution rather than trolling like 12 year old boys in a 1995 AOL chat room
December 12, 2025 at 12:11 AM
The problem w/ Cuban is that if he was *genuinely* interested in a healthcare discussion, there are 100 experts who could tell him why every other modern country has a different system than ours. He had the access. Instead he wants to troll libtards.

Any suggestions on the music front? Like YouTube links maybe?

Note that Harris winning a majority (but not as much of a majority) of Hispanics was seen to be devastating. So only being supported by 36% of *everyone* should be seen as extinction level

These guys know this! They’re intentionally doing this charade so Dems *don’t* change public opinion! They’re trying to convince Dems to disarm themselves! This is the equivalent of 1960’s FBI convincing Civil Rights leaders that disruption is counter productive.

Remember no matter how much you hate your job, there was a guy who hated soup and worked for the world’s most well-known soup company. So it could always be worse.

Ah yes, Europe - famously absent from professional strongman, powerlifting and arm wrestling

Was it the Santa that was boo’ed by Philly? If so, still football!

Waymo well ahead on autonomy. Gemini way ahead on AI. Bezos quickly catching up on rockets. Elon’s empty promises are catching up to him.

To go further, these guys say there isn’t sufficient evidence in the *historical* record for birthright citizenship will absolutely say there is ample evidence for the *historical* existence of Jesus. “History is whatever I believe.”

Yeah, I’m fairly online and I never see this stuff from Schumer. It’s trivially easy to release videos to all major sites simultaneously so the idea that we’re just silo’ed out of this great stream of Schumer comms is fucking stupid
December 8, 2025 at 1:33 AM
But Tom Cotton’s also says that pumping your fist to a crowd of rioters *was not* encouraging them to riot. (Because he did that at Jan 6th.). Fist pump? No crime! Shirt off in open ocean? Hostile act!

They weren’t drowning beneath the waves. They were attempting an underwater attack on US submarines!
December 7, 2025 at 9:48 PM
It wasn’t some academic ruling. The entire US gov apparatus began assuming the consensus legal view *immediately.* it’s like arguing prohibition was never actually lifted even if all government agencies said it immediately in all paperwork for the next 100 years
December 7, 2025 at 9:32 PM
Not *only* that but every person in the US at that time (gov officials, administrators, politicians, etc.) who interpreted it any other way was wrong. His argument is the people *at the time* got it wrong too! They gave non-slave born people citizenship in gov docs!
December 7, 2025 at 9:29 PM
Gotta wonder how many of his Asian colleagues appreciate him arguing that they’re not American citizens and can be forcefully deported by ICE.
December 7, 2025 at 9:23 PM
There were children of immigrants in the US who were not freed slaves at that time. After that amendment, gov documents refer to these people as American Citizens. Future law cases call them citizens. Even racists in that time plotted to pass a new amendment b/c they admitted that’s what it did!
December 7, 2025 at 9:13 PM
It’s stupid. It’s like saying we can’t know whether Bill was a King unless we find a document declaring Bill as King. Everyone called him King Bill, documents call his land Kingdom of Bill, documents call his people Subjects of King Bill, etc.
December 7, 2025 at 9:08 PM
No, you don’t understand, the crafters were supposed to assume 150 years from their time, bad-faith fascists would try to ignore the crystal clear purpose of the amendment. They should have prepared for that by stating exactly which future immigrants this applied to. Otherwise, we can’t know!

And I think all of these 3 have been proven to have abused the student visa privilege they used to come to the US (you can’t work in the US under a student visa but they all did.)
December 6, 2025 at 7:00 PM
It’s also funny considering a government that has the power to upend the most basic and well-defined immigration right in US history could, trivially, decide that living immigrants from South Africa (Musk, Thiel, Sacks, etc.) can be forcefully remigrated back.
December 6, 2025 at 6:59 PM
I think there was a time this was true but global right-wing groups co-opted this a long time ago. It’s a Russian formula but has been domesticated for a while.

Trump is much culturally closer a demented decadent aristocrat. Having some poor peasant wipe your mouth with his families heirloom linens is the thrill.
