You said it perfectly enough. I have nothing to add, completely agree.

I can feel the attractiveness in the pull of tribality...if that's even a word. Feelings of safety come to mind and power. But what we sacrifice is our reasoned judgment.

A lonely path we walk.

I have the same feeling although wouldn't assign myself to a side. I feel people get caught up in their values to such a degree they fail to view reality. Reality is never black and white. Only shades of gray.

It's hard to prove intent isn't it? The flight or fight mechanic kicking in, the fact he was trained to manage violent behaviours. I could imagine he saw a threat, wanted to help others but his actions then resulted in the poor mans death. We should strive to learn from this, judgement gets us nowhr

And just to add further, as someone who is left of centre. Our failure to recognize the nuances further fails our cause. We look like fundamentalists captured by our own delusions of what we wish society to be.

If what you have cited is correct, I agree with you. Yes we should recognize that a death sentence wasn't warrented. But in regards to public safety, his death was an unfortunte result. It appears society failed this man way before this event.

I agree, lets talk about them. Lets shout about those who really have changed our society and whom we owe gratitude for.

I think "Assad-loving" is a heavy strawman about his views on the Syrian situation over the years. Think a more nuanced position is a healthier view on reality. But you do you.

Truely insiring. Tbh I find musicians and music overblown in regards to it's importance in life. Yeah it's a nice cherry on the top, certainly helps pass the time. But I have much more appreciation for those keeping society running, the shop staff, farmers, healthcare staff and bus drivers for e.g.

What other avenue does someone have to change this toxic system? Politics? Where those voted in do not fight for the people that voted them in but bow down to those with power. The only way I can see is through resistance and collective action. But with people so divided, that does not seem possible

Those with any significant amount of power in society seem to be motivated in pitting us all against each other. With the erosion of community in modern life, we forget that we are more similar than different. Community is how we heal.

I believe those folks are in the minority and I feel sorry for them. To see all the beauty of nature just to destroy it speaks to a level of immaturity that would benefit from empathy.

I'm sorry you had to deal with that.

So beautiful! Colour is so vibrant. I agree, definitely a dinosaur/fairy hybrid. There's a certain sparkle to them.

Been a while since i've listened to the mind melting guitar solos of the soundtrack. What a game, so much co-op fun.
