Last night I was so exhausted. From grief, life and pain. We went to bed early; me and Roo. She's my BFF and really feeds off my mood, so she looked tired too. But she got up on our messy bed with her chewy stick and found peace. Ahhh. I was safe.

Caught a thief this morning! Was happy to feed her.

A quick roam before the rainstorm. My crew knows that lettuce and herbs keep their bodies healthy for the day. Then as the rain began they quickly scurried back into the shelter of their coop. Looking forward more sunshine this week!

Life is worth so much more than the mess in the White House. I'm glad I was raised by a hero who had values, good morals and love for all humans. He cherished his country, taught me wrong from right. Loss taught me that money can't buy peace and happiness and only love can truly heal.

These days crochet and Netflix are my addiction. Learning keeps my brain 🧠 active and my BFF keeps me safe. My husband keeps me in food and humor. I'm grateful 🙏
