Yes, some optimism for the end of the blatant, in your face corruption & incompetence.
Except Corp Dems and Neo Liberals continue/extend/mimic the Right's policies. Think wars without end , Patriot Act and the surveillance state. The genocide and targeted killings were ramped up by the Corp Dems.

This is possible in a society were maximizing corporate profit does not prioritized over total societal benefit.
We'd rather subsidize corporate profits w/ governmental investments & tax breaks, as well as taxpayer funded infrastructure. And that's already ignoring environmental costs.

When you run government "like a business", you find profit centers where ever you can. Especially when you run it as a sole proprietorship.
