I do not believe he is a genius at all. I think his success comes from being born wealthy, being power hungry, and bending/breaking the rules/laws without consequenc (which is possible for him because he's a regular looking white guy)

Trump has threatened to legally pursue Zuck so I'm sure his motivations at least partially stem from self preservation. We've known for a long time that he's not a good dude so I'm not surprised he is making these decisions.
