A few years ago, one of my hard drives died on me, and I had lost all of my VRCW projects. I tried looking and looking to see if I did have it backed up. I kept telling myself that I did, but across my cloud drives, I couldn't find it.
Turns out it was just buried, and I found it after 4 years.
