That's understandable for quick admin frontends. I also find Bootstrap super effective there.

I've just made the decision to use Tailwind CSS for all recent projects, including admin dashboards, just to maintain consistency and avoid mixing frameworks.

You are right that they work in different ways, so they are not exact substitutes. I was mostly asking which one people use for new projects these days. ☺️

I’m using TailwindCSS for most of my newer projects, but I still have a couple of older ones built with Bootstrap.
