The Mega-Carnie is a Drifter
One of the best solutions for affordability is inflation.

Housing, health care and higher ed prices can't realistically go down. Ppl who paid $1m for a house just can't sell it for less. Doctors won't take a pay cut.

But if a loaf of bread is $200, a $1m home works just fine.

Can we at least acknowledge a certain amount of rhetorical hyperbole when saying Clinton or Harris were 'rigged' or 'stolen'? Folks get 'rigged' mostly means 'feels unfair.'

But Trump's crusade is not rhetorical hyperbole. Folks died and went to jail for it. He still believes it. It's not the same

Hmm. He's 28-4, but his 4 all came in the last 10, including his most recent fight, which was over a year ago. Now he's taking gimmick fights.

Paul targets has-beens with so he can market their once-great record and fight the has-been. So this is on brand. It could go to Paul!

You just gotta do it right. There's videos on this stuff. You just gotta pre-heat the oil. At least, I'm pretty sure. Cold oil is going to seep into the skin. So, yeah. Preheat. And make sure that bird is COLD. Like, right out of the fridge. That's gonna cool the oil so it doesn't flash over.

This is pre-AI. This is New New Testament, Book of Face chapter 35,917, verses 1-2, circa 2009.

The bars next to Wall Street are always filled at 6:00 PM with Bros talking about working 16 hours a day.

Clinton can't help but make me admire his gumption.

We've seen how Trump lusts after the salacious secrecy of his special friendship with Epstein.

Clinton is a professional. He talks about charity and civic engagement. Did he diddle? Pro'lly. But he respects your patriotism, not your headgame.

They need wedge issues that resonate with the genpop.

But they can't make ppl hope for better than they have b/c they're gonna cut everything.

So they do like evening news and want to tell you about one common household item that's A TICKING TIME BOMB for your family - after this commercial break

And granted, we're beyond institutional norms right now, which is the only reason this could be ok.

But in Merrick Garland world, you would never do this. Because if the government can smear them in the press it can charge them in court. And if it can't do the latter, it doesn't do the former.

Who releases it matters, though.

If the government can get dirt on you using subpoena powers of a criminal investigation, and then not charge you, and then have partisan actors release that dirt to the press as allegedly in the public interest, why not always do that to all enemies of the people?

Being real: the thing that kept Epstein documents a secret before was norms.

The US gov should not release damaging Intel it has on people that it's not willing to charge with an actual crime. See Abrego-Garcia.

These releases are showing things that are clear, but not chargeable.

They couldn't smell the onions and mustard. It was jury anosmication.

Oh shit, that's what that is.

I've been seeing pictures of that spot from that angle for, like, 30 years and I've always been, like, "where is that? Morocco? It looks like Morocco."

Learn something every day. Thank you Mr. President.

Don't count yourself out. Folks have short memories in politics.

With a bit of a ground game, and a bit of luck, good people might just forget you ever had that K.

Hot take: keep it.

Let this be the one thing in the White House that keeps the Trump style and name. The ballroom goes; the Trump Bathroom stays forever. Put it on the tour, and include every Trump quote and photo about it. Chart the whole history of it. And make Trump the hero, of the bathroom.

What are the odds this guy spends about 2 weeks as an elected D before switching to MAGA while claiming, "I didn't leave the Party, the Party left me."

That bit was one of the coolest and most innovative things Star Wars has done in a decade or more.

Shame it was like fishing Swiss chocolate out of a wet turd.

Well, when you find yourself at the head of a Ponzi Scheme, there are only two ways out: 1) bankruptcy and prison, or 2) unlocking the secret to infinite exponential growth.

Yes, but I would vote for a meathead.

I'd vote for a guy with a Duke Football tattoo. I'd vote for a guy with a "No Fear" tattoo. I'd vote for a guy with a tribal, barbed wire bicep tattoo. I'd vote for a guy with a Fred Durst neck tat.

I won't vote for this

I remember being a fresh-faced teen debating whether my future lay in medicine, or webcomics.

So I asked, the VGCats dude what it takes to make it in his industry. He said, "start 5 years ago."

I think it's always been this way.

Still, thanks to Scott. Medicine just said "no."

I'd say a rule to "never trust AI for something you wouldn't trust a 1st year" should solve most of these problems.

But seeing how many BigLaw folk throw their 1st years under the bus the instant they get caught out of pocket, maybe they're already following that rule.

We have a homelessness "epidemic" not b/c homelessness is worse today, but b/c smart phones and compassionate policies make it more visible, and thus, more annoying to normies.

RFKJr sees an autism epidemic the same way. It feels more present and he wants a world where kids aren't such pussies.

I don't blame you. A man gets that Popeye money and it can't help but change 'em.
