Might be a distro thing, and depend on which audio backend its using? Debian I know you end up with a lot of weirdness because of being on older versions of packages, older standards etc.

I promise you, whatever amount of relearning or half-assed Linux apps (looking at you, Discord) will not overshadow the comfort of minimising your reliance on an increasingly ad riddled, AI infested mess Windows is becoming.

And you dont need to ditch entirely, but you do need to try.

Bazzite is pretty chill, you can't fuck with the core OS so very hard to break. Does everything I need it to, in a secure way. Behaved well on Nvidia (though am now on AMD graphics).

Linux is not for everyone, but I think most should find a way to try it at least.
