Finished the audiobook of Best Served Cold. Steven Pacey is a fantastic narrator. This one is just as good as the original series and I love more stories in the First Law world.💙📚

First time reading Crime and Punishment. Here’s my hot take: they’re all Cray-zay. I know, I know. Informed, Highly educated opinion. I’m going to read some commentary on it eventually but for now, it was great but wacky. Also, this is a great translation btw. 💙📚

Today has been the best fall day. Spent time with neighbors. Diesel got to meet their littles and has a new best friend named Marlo. Spent the afternoon listening to music and organizing. Making the most of my furlough. Pic of Nova enjoying the sun. #cats #fall #michigan

I read this book probably at a bad time but I didn’t know anything about it going in. There are reasons I don’t really read a lot of fiction/literature. This book had no hope. I don’t care how profound anyone says it is. I didn’t enjoy it and wouldn’t recommend it. 💙📚

Just listened to Attached. It was pretty good. I definitely feel like I understand my own reactions in relationships more. It felt very introductory, so I’m going to investigate more. 💙📚

Newest books. I did some grief therapy today at the bookstore. Is my TBR really long, yes. Did I need to spend 2 hours in the bookstore today, also yes. Did it make things better, no, but at least I wasn’t focused on feeling sad. So, maybe yes. 💙📚
