Very informative article. I wondering if the BORDER and empty SCREEN colors are taken from the same CLUT as the picture, or they can be different (and this way can be more than 16 colors on screen at same time)?

I see. I guess the only downside of not using real hardware is that the pictures not look that good as on CRT-TV :)

So how do you watch/listen these discs? On the software player from optical drive, or on dedicated hardware player and CRT TV? 📺🎼

I'm not that tech savvy to jump to the code level. Just looking around for GUI software that capable to do some CD extensions in one go (or in a couple of steps with virtual drive and a CD image creation). But looks like it's non existent, at least in the freeware zone.

What software did you use to burn this CD+G disc?

Didn't know that Sega Saturn capable of CD+EG playback. Unfortunately I don't have one :(

It seems you have done extensive research on CD+G :)
Maybe you came across of the CD+G capable hardware list (like DVDplayers)?
Turns out not all equipment with CD+G label on it can do accurate playback. I burn too many CD-R's before realise it :(
