I'm grinding up my support job in #FFXI and one of my trusts gained aggro and was for some reason some distance away from me. So the monster I'm fighting is running away from me and I'm like "come back here you coward and let me kill you!"

Diving back into Vana'diel and I've got my first page worth of quests already filled!

Alright! Time to log into #FFXI! I absolutely love this message. When FFXI first launched it was in the height of concern regarding Everquest addiction (with Everquest often referred to as Evercrack). This isn't a message I've noticed in more modern MMOs.
A message titled "A Word to Our Players" which says "Exploring Vana'diel is a thrilling experience. During your time here, you will be able to talk, join and adventure with many other individuals in an experience that is unique to online games. That being said, we have no desire to see your real life suffer as a consequence. Don't forget your fanmily, your friends, your school or your work." Below that are buttons labelled "Play" and "Back"

I spent the past couple of days getting retroarch setup to play PS1 games. Of the 5 hours I've spent with the app getting it all setup, I've only played the game for 1.5 hours 🤦‍♀️
