Most of the recent Nobel Prize awardees from Australia did their research overseas. This work was done at UoM. There’s a really interesting article in Pursuit about it.

I am slowly moving forward. Have just started a new job in a different hospital. Just .2. Small steps. After everything I just needed something different.
It’s still hard, yet also a little easier. It’s an odd thing.

Wouldn’t be surprised if this happens. At least territory senators are only 3 year appointments, not 6. So she’s only guaranteed another 2.5 years, not 5.5.

I am furious at the wording in that headline. “Flee”. Why not Left? Cut short? Ended? Didn’t give this human the time of day. Not sure it would have been used if the politicians were male.

Did I mention the showbag? Made from recycled signage that used to cover the fences during construction. It’s going to be a great shopping bag.

A brightly coloured shopping bag, with the contents in front of it. There’s a cardboard train I’ve put together, some pamphlets, some post it notes, and a badge. There’s were some jubes…. Mark ate them.

Summing up - it was worth a look. And the organisers made people welcome on a chilly rainy Melbourne day, with hot drinks, hot food, and hot jam donuts. And music, and a showbag made from old signs. Thanks to everyone who made it happen.
