I’m debating whether I want to read Carmilla before reading this. It sounds so good.

The Return I feel is the most “horror-esque” in the typical thought of the genre. So I always recommend that to horror fans. Such Sharp Teeth is more a creature feature with underlying themes that hit me hard being a woman w/ a uterus. But I think anyone can appreciate it.

I’ve read this. You’re right, it’s not quite horror but it was still entertaining and a good thriller.

I’m currently reading The Unmaking of June Farrow. My favorite read of 2025 so far is Black Sheep. Highly recommend the author Rachel Harrison. You?

Oh, I love to hear that! I’m still at the beginning but I’m so intrigued! The audiobook is very well done so far! I’ve only read her book Spells for Forgetting which I enjoyed.

Congrats!! My tip is be careful going on a requesting spree just in case you get approved for all or most of them and you get overwhelmed with a low Feedback Ratio. And check out their Knowledge Base and We Are Bookish blog. Soooo many tips!
