Some pictures from Sharp & Fine’s “A Detective Story.” We premiered this dance show in San Francisco last month after over a year of rehearsals. It started as a story about stories, but ended up being a dreamy show about love and choices and monsters that leaned shamelessly into big noir aesthetics.

I saw my gynecologist this week and she told me that she’s having quite a few conversations with worried patients. She said she’s researching state laws that might be useful, which makes me feel good about having her as a doctor, but so sad that this is where we’re headed.

Can’t sleep, so I’m here and realizing that this place is kind of… nice? And also that I’ve forgotten how to actively participate in text-based social media because I’ve gotten used to scrolling into a soul-deadening void.
