Border 2 Fire here in Chula Vista, California. It’s been a long 24 hours with wind shifts starting. Over 5,300 acres and 10% containment. Truly amazed by the courage and commitment of our firefighters.

“Last Light: San Ysidro Mountains”
Getting acquainted with my surroundings here in SoCal. The mountains of San Diego county are such a stark difference to the flat lands of the Chesapeake. While they currently have snow back east, fires are popping up down here. It’s wild.
