#506: Thank god I’m almost done. Today I just did two, starting with 21st Century Liability by YUNGBLUD. I understand why this guy isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but he’s so kind and stands for all the right things, and this album is great. Big fan of the dude!

#505: Beautiful People Will Ruin Your Life by The Wombats. I love the 2017-2018 era of indie music so bad. I wish I knew how much I would grow to miss that period of time. “Lemon To A Knife Fight,” among others on here, are total bangers.

#504: Love & Loathing by With Confidence also has plenty of total jams, albeit not as many as its predecessor. As always, I’m a huge fan of the vinyl being the exact shade of pink as seen in the cover art.

#501: My Urban order from singles day just came in! I am SO beyond excited that Living Room by AJR finally has a vinyl pressing. And a stunning one at that. It’s not the brothers’ best project by any means, but they were so young making it and a few like “Bleecker Street” are forever special to me.

#500: (how the hell do I own that many vinyl? no wonder I’m in debt) Wicked film soundtrack, Glinda edition - hoping there will be an Elphaba edition for the new soundtrack! This was supposed to be pink with green splatter, but the splatter is really just clear lol.

#499: One more for today, the Wicked soundtrack, Broadway version! Love this green/black split, though many of these exclusive tracks for the 15th anniversary are kind of pointless. Listening to this is getting me more excited for the new movie this week!

#498: Intellectual Property, you will always be famous to me. Definitely not my fav by the band, but I gauged my arm open and have a permanent large scar because I was rushing down the stairs out of excitement to listen to this album for the first time, so there’s that.

#497: Greatest Hits by Waterparks. The best album of all time lowkey. The band’s magnum opus for sure. Such a wonderful piece of work, with stunning imagery and a gorgeous vinyl.

#496: Controversial take, but FANDOM is my least fav Waterparks album. I still love it, but my interest in the band diminished during this cycle, mostly because of how abhorrent their fans behaved. Once GH came out and I revisited this record, it was over for me.

#495: Entertainment by Waterparks will ALWAYS be THAT album. The vinyl is a lot more purple in person. I actually used to have one of the splatter pressings before I started properly collecting, but I sold it, and then was able to get my hands on this pressing when I actually began collecting.

#494: My beloved small underground band Waterparks (I refuse to acknowledge how perceived they are now) Double Dare will always be SO special to me. I am so lucky to have heard it the second it released and see them play to 150 people during this album cycle.

#493: What If Nothing by Walk The Moon - another one from that golden age of indie before it all started to sound the same lol. “Kamikaze” and “One Foot” are phenomenal. I’m such a sucker for 2xLPs that are two different colours too.

#492: I only have WOTE’s newer stuff on vinyl cause their two best albums are impossible to find, which really sucks. HERE WE GO! is decent, but not great. They really started to lose their vision after Mike passed, and it’s evident. That being said, the album art here slays.

#491: Taekwondo The Soundtrack by Walk Off The Earth - apparently they made a whole short film out of this? I only know the title track. I was quite into them when it dropped and I saw them live that summer. This vinyl was a great rare find from Beat Goes On, one of my fav record stores.

#490: Virginia To Vegas is such a homie, and I was so happy when he finally put some of his tunes on vinyl recently! This greatest hits compilation is weird though cause I feel like it’s missing some songs that should be there, and almost the whole b-side is just a means to promote his newer stuff.

#489: Jaguar II by Victoria Monét on brown vinyl. I bought this one when I went to the record store for more vinyl sleeves and couldn’t bear to leave without a new record. I’d recently added this one to my want list and it was the first one from there that I saw on the shelf.

#488: Love the violet vinyl for Valley’s Lost In Translation album. I truly wish I could get more into this but so many of the songs sound too much the same to me 😭 I think male-fronted music acts are just not my thing anymore LOLLL

#487: Last Birthday by Valley on clear vinyl. Same deal, some bops but nothing that does much for me. But I do love these guys down just on principle. If you love cheesy indie pop tunes, Valley is gonna be your vibe.

#486: I’m not hugely into Valley, but they’ll always hold a place in my heart since they randomly came and played a show in the middle of the day at my school in 2016 once. Such a neat story now that they’ve started to get their flowers! This is Sucks To See You Doing Better.

#484: I can’t believe I hadn’t opened this yet - a stunning pressing of Clancy by Twenty One Pilots. I genuinely completely adore this album. I really didn’t think they had something like this in them again after S&A. I hope to complete my TØP collection soon!

#483: Location Sessions by Twenty One Pilots on grey vinyl, a collection of four songs recorded in various places, sounding entirely different. I think I got this vinyl by accident without even realizing it was being released, and I genuinely love these versions of these songs.
