#DissertationDiaries: Day 23 – A needed reminder!

My supervisor printed my rough dissertation—195 pages, 60K words—and said, “Look how much you’ve done.” Editing feels slow, but progress is real. After a tough week of reviewer edits, grant apps, and doubt, this was the encouragement I needed!

This week I had the opportunity to go on #liveradio and help co-host GradCast’s first live show experience in a long while! You never know where volunteering will take you, and this has definitely sparked interest in doing more radio related content in the future!

My research on dating apps got a lot more local lol. Winder is Western’s new dating app. An interesting micro-dating app

Very excited to announce my paper walking through ethical concerns on Tinder and Hinge's #algorithms and #design is now published in the Winter 2023 issue of @the_iJournal
