I decided between now and tax time I'm gonna donate $4 from every brush pack ordered to @aclu.org -- if you've been considering buying my brush packs in the past, now's a very good time to get them. I may be listing a new pack during this time too so keep an eye out 👀 ko-fi.com/meghunt/shop
promotional image reading: from March 15 to April 15 $4 from each Procreate brush pack sale will be donated to the ACLU

No problem! I’d rather an excited response (I’m also a big fan!) than none at all :)

random question: who are your favorite limited color/cohesive palette picture book illustrators working today? (doesn't have to be super limited color, but intentionally curated palettes across their books!) I'm trying to figure out approaches for my dummy...

Fairy (inspired by biblically accurate angels :D), Gryphon, Satyr, and Manticore (4/4). All of these started out with traditional media (marker, colored pencil, fountain pen ink and stamp pads), and then mixed with digital media for Riso. Printed beautifully by @magicrockriso.bsky.social !

Floral Dragon, Sasquatch, Mermaid (well, floundermaid!), and Will o' the Wisp (3/4)

Cockatrice, Kraken, Harpy (inspired by the secretary bird!) and Elf (with a hedgehog companion-- thanks @amandabsparks.bsky.social for the suggestion!) (2/4)

Was at @gallerynucleus.bsky.social this weekend for RAZ Fest-- so much fun! I debuted a mini gacha print series called Creature Feature! I wanted to show all 16 of the print designs in this thread, so here are Dryad, Unicorn, Barometz, and Metal Dragon (1/4)

Hooray! TURKEY TROT @simonkids.bsky.social wiggles its way onto shelves today. Look at those little legs! The front cover has no text, and we needed to make it so it could flip upside down to shelve legs up if needed (hence turkey #8). It results in a very poppy graphic image!

lovely and glowy!!!

Thank you Chuck! It was really fun to just go absolutely silly with it. I highly recommend working on a book with a silly novelty feature like plush legs heheheh

In just about a week, this lil book is going to be on shelves! TURKEY TROT (@simonkids.bsky.social) is about a gaggle of turkeys prepping for the big race, and it has plush feet so little kids can take part too! Thanks to Little Simon and my awesome designer/hand model @jsheaart.bsky.social

Omg I might need to draw this too

Made a piece inspired by my hometown in summer (and New England beach towns in general!) swipe through to see my favorite mini golf course growing up. This will be a 3 color Risograph print soon for #razfest 🥰 @gallerynucleus.bsky.social

Holding steadfast onto the 'no rules, just right' methodology of character designing these bugs. I'm having a lot of fun just letting the drawings be a little wonky and bad, it's bringing me back to my teen years watching Dr Katz after school.

working on a new riso zine I'm calling Fashion Bug... kind of a companion piece to my picture book dummy! Having a lot of fun experimenting with this rough line bleedy wash style and pushing shape language.

I'm going to be in LA for RAZfest in September @gallerynucleus.bsky.social so I'm working on some new Riso prints right now! 🍞🐦 #risograph
