Standing outside the gates of the Qu'Appelle Indian Residential School. This is a haunted, dark place. A 5-year-old taken through these gates had a lower chance of survival than a Canadian soldier fighting in WW2.

Got a letter from MAGA ambassador Pete Hoekstra about my comments on the killing of Charlie Kirk. He likes that I deplore political violence but missed where I spoke out against his mob exploiting political violence to go after their political opponents.

I know little about Charlie Kirk. Never paid much attention to his dark, inane posts but I am appalled at his death. Politics has been pushed to the point where extremist language leads to violence. In a democracy, there is no justification for the murder of a man over ideas. This is a wake-up call.
