(1/3) 🎣 Fishermen at Jamestown beach (Accra, Ghana) often find more clothing than fish in their nets.

This means less income and more danger: torn nets, damaged boats, and constant repair costs. The local fish population also continues to decline due to overfishing, climate change, and pollution.

A community of the Ga people lives close to Kantamanto Market and the Agbobloshie dumpsite, by Korle Lagoon – a water body that, til recently, was a sacred place for rituals. ♾️
