Most of the population is not artists, but a lot of the population has artistic hobbies, and if you replace that with a computer doing it for you or whatever, it’s just pointless. A reminder: generative AI is antithetical to the human practice of art. No matter how "good" the result seems, it's a hollow and barren reproduction productsd without care, thought, motivation, or curiosity.
