No perfect candidate exists. All I really want is a person that is trustworthy enough, has sincere convictions for all, can speak plainly to 70% of Americans, and most importantly can lead by example in their personal lives. A little heart goes a long way and is easy to recognize.

The problem is that this country has 2 parties that reverse any progress made by the former administration's vs building on it. Also many are prejudice, corrupt, out for themselves, scared little puppies, etc. My hope for 2026 is that the majority of good willed voters will prevail.

I remember a professor at William and mary posing the Heinz Dilemma to us in class in the mid- 90's. We wrote essays and had to discuss aloud in class. It always stuck with me the variety of perspectives on the dilemma.
