Oh yeah me either, but I do think the way a room is laid out contributes to the way you feel. I don't believe in the whole spiritual side of it haha, it's just helped me personally to improve my interior design so I saw this as an opportunity to apply what I'd learned and help a bit!

I'm no interior design expert, I just watch a lot of feng shui videos - a mirror has the effect of doubling the mood of what's in the room. If you have a mirror facing your bed, it will feel like you're being watched. Maybe this would be better so you can't see yourself!

Is the mirror facing you when you sleep? That sounds horrifying haha

I recommend posing the armature by selecting it and pressing CTRL+tab and going into pose mode; put it in a really weird pose and you should be able to see how the armature is weighted to each part of the model. When you're satisfied, you can just press CTRL A and clear user transforms.

Otherwise, you'll have to do weight painting which isn't as scary as it sounds. CTRL+tab and pick weight paint, I strongly recommend turning on auto-normalize since that prevents bones from being weighted to multiple things. Then you just select the bones and paint!

You create the rig, I recommend getting the rigify plugin, for the presets. Then you select the mesh you wanna rig and the armature you want to rig it to and press CTRL+P. Then you wanna select with automatic weights. If it's in separate meshes, you can then just delete any bones you don't want

You make a skeletal rig and you'd rig each part of the mesh to the bones you want them to be affected by. Lemme take some screenshots real quick...

You can be the world's best programmer, artist, designer, but if your project isn't organized and you aren't keeping track of what needs doing, you'll very easily get lost and burned out.

Game projects are very big and it's very easy to get very lost on what to work on next. Proper organization can really help give clarity on what you need to do, and looking at the end of the month at how many things you've moved to the "done" pile gives a real sense of progress!
