I used to get crap like this when I was a writer: “I have an idea for a story. You can write it and we can split the money.” I would tell them that ideas can’t be copyrighted so I can take their idea, make my own story, and keep all the money since I did all the work. Their confused looks though. 😂

Just a silly story here: the first R rated movie I could legally watch in the theater was the South Park movie. About a year later, my mom borrowed the CD soundtrack from a co-worker. She knew I saw the movie, so she asked me to explain what was going on. That was awkward for me, but I did it. 😵‍💫
