It may seem strange to light a candle when there is so much awful happening, but when I saw this I had to purchase it. I send a circle of protection to all that I love around the world. To my country, Canada. I imagine whoever sees this in a circle of protection, away from harm. May you be safe. ❤️🕯️🌎

Merlin Cat woke up early to wish me luck on a PhD milestone—meeting with my dissertation committee to discuss my first submitted chapter. (Not to be confused as the first chapter…although I suspect a lot of it will be in the Introduction). Writing process…Am I right?

The increase in book banning (particularly down south) has shown that it is the marginalized voices that are being silenced. But don't be fooled, it is happening in Canada under the guise of protecting the children. Access to a variety of literature is essential. #freedomtoreadweek

I know it’s a bit old school but I’m such a visual person. In anticipation of the research I’ll be doing, I organized my dissertation chapters into folders and notes. And a special organizer dedicated to breaking steps down into micro movements. Let’s do this!
