So cute! Looks like a long-haired chi to me. My last dog was a Chihuahua, she was a great dog!

Does anything illustrate the dichotomy in America right now like this juxtaposition of bluesky posts today? I don't begrudge anyone going out for a nice meal -- I do the same when I can. It's just that we have to figure this out. We can't continue to let our fellow Americans go hungry.

At the specialty vet with my cancer kitty Furlough. Deciding today whether to go ahead with treatment. Thanks for any good thoughts, prayers and karma. He's such a good boi.

My Charlie was the same way. Love of my life. He had stomach cancer, & let me know it was time. We spent his whole last day out in the sunshine. He was tired. One of the other cats left a toy in the box I had him in (when he was "lying in state" in the catcoop) so we buried him with that.

My cat Furlough has a carcinoma in his jaw. Cancer sucks. Have to decide on radiation. (My handsome boy in better times.)

SO fun! My college roommate was a consultant on "Coco", & the first time I saw it, in the theater, I was SO excited to wait for her name in the credits. It makes me happy every time I watch the movie (which I do every Halloween).

I saw a little Northern Lights color about 10 in the northern sky 😍 But nothing now. Gnight butterflies!

Early snow in Asheville gave us a taste of winter. It was pretty for a couple of days, I took these Tuesday morning. Back to the 50s today, all the snow is gone.

On this Veterans Day, I'm thankful to all who believed in & believe in the promise of democracy & have served this wonderful country. She isn't perfect by a long shot, but she's worth fighting for, at the ballot box as well as on the battlefield. (My Daddy in the Navy during WWII)

My sister Lindsay was so in love with NYC. She dropped out of college in the 60s & went to NYC to model. (Walked dogs & sold crafts while she got herself noticed, then signed with the Ford agency.) It's the only place she ever wanted to live. I'm sorry she left us last summer. She would love Mamdani
