If anyone is unsure still, this is what people mean when they say the issue isn’t right vs left, the issue is the top vs the bottom.

You‘re suggesting UBI & healthcare would somehow lead to apathy. If you look into countless UBI pilot studies, the results show the exact opposite.

Take away the real cause/s of peoples pain (ie status quo economic policy) with UBI & healthcare & the fertile soil for a Trump Presidency is gone.

The struggle due to the ever growing wealth and income inequality is a key driver in the rise of fascism, with desperate people pushed into the arms of authoritarians.

It is absolutely the time to talk about Universal Basic Income & healthcare. The world literally cannot afford for us not to.

How can these AI companies continue at this pace when all the lawsuits are just starting.

One of them just had to payout over a billion dollars from one lawsuit alone soon after raising $13B in their latest round.

This. I am honestly bewildered by so many people right now who don't seem to know history. I have studied Hitler's rise to power. It's why I'm truly horrified to see what is happening in the US (& increasingly, the UK).

I have never felt more relieved to be in Australia, sans Temu Trump.

True! Billions of $ spent on innovation, yet how often is it solving any real problem for the people using it?

My sis & I saw a problem - users 40+ struggling to see their screens, & decided to do something. We created ELEVU - display tech that eliminates the need for glasses to see your devices!

It’s clear Trump and his administration are desperate to start a war (& wouldn’t Netanyahu love that). The last thing Australia and Australians want or need is get dragged into it.

It is absolutely distressing, I agree. It’s not separate, is my point. It’s part of a collective effort to desensitise humanity to the suffering of others, in order to continue efforts that perpetuate the suffering.

Ah, if you take a minute to look at my posts, I’ve been posting about Gaza the entire horrific Genocide.

Why on earth would you think it’s ok for children to be sanitised to a video of a brutal murder (of someone I can’t stand)? All children, including Gazan, deserve a childhood without trauma.
