Ruby-crowned Kinglet. This may be the first time I’ve ever seen the crown come out! There WAS a European Starling hogging the suet, so I get it.

This Orange-crowned Warbler has been a steady visitor to our feeder station this winter. Usually seen on the suet, but I guess the finch blend was worth a taste this morning.

One of our resident cardinals has unique pigmentation. Love the leucistic birds. He’s a little puffed up against the cold in this one so you can’t see his little black goatee. Maryland, 12/2024
