I think Biden said what he said in hopes it'd go dark and let Trump go back on another promise. I don't suspect he knew about the backhanded deal made- likely to combine it with META so the entire social media is owned by his cronies

It was definitely a stunt. Biden likely knew nothing about it, and Trump Elon and Zuckerberg went and did a dirty deal, it's probably related to Meta now so he could "save the day"
