Last night we said goodbye to one the best librarians Great Falls has ever had. A rough tenure with the anti-literacy and anti-homeless faction trying to dominate public life in Great Falls. Thanks Susie McIntyre for your service to all of our community.

This year I’m only responsible for the Relish Tray.
Another throwback to my childhood Thanksgiving. I also was responsible for the relish tray every year. But that was usually just opening jars of pickles and olives.
Not a lot has changed. 😂

The fact that this ignored - especially in light of the SNAP cuts to WORKERS, because Congress is demanding a work requirement (but SNAP recipients are working - unlike Congress 🙄) - just makes my head explode. 🤯 #SNAP

I made the “Depression Era Chocolate Cake”. No dairy or eggs in the cake. I made a Milk Chocolate glaze per the recipe with some dairy, but obviously you could make a dairy free glaze. #BlueSkyCooking 🍽️

I’m excited that the Montana Plan has put forth their idea in the form of a Constitutional Amendment. I’m still not sanguine that our opposition won’t go after it hard when it passes.

When I was in High School - oh let’s say last Century - I received $275 in Savings Bonds Prize money - using my skills as a pianist.
Today I cashed the bonds - $1,100 and change in the bank.
