I asked students to stop sending emails so I could focus on grading. They did and now I don’t have anything to distract myself from grading so now I’m on Bluesky for the first time in months?!

I use Otter.ai to record classes. I just discovered the Summary tab in the transcript. There is an accurate To Do list, (some for me, some for students), and when I paste into MS To Do, each item is listed separately. Incredible. Game-changing for this educator who has too many balls in the air!

My calendar is alerting me to “Thanksgiving Break” at regular intervals and I’m feeling failure because past me put in that reminder but present me can’t meet the aspiration… yet the college kids are home, the littles (and me, quietly) are thrilled about it, and we had some moments 🧡💚.
