Since I am responsible for the (attempted) eradication of cockroachs in my house, I know for a fact that that buddy is not one I have seen before, which meant... that it's probably related to the other roaches. But I don't think adults have that many options for mating (I don't have to tell you why)

I think to me, maybe Italian also sounds better

But in the end, I imagine that our lived experiences (with the lang) have the final word

Also, maybe society plays a big role in shaping what we consider to be a beautiful language.

This said, I don't doubt that there might be certain factors that might make a language more beautiful, maybe certain sounds make our bodies and minds react in better ways than others.

Definitely, but I think it also depends on your previous exposure to the language, maybe it's sth similar to the cross-race effect.

E.g. I didn't really liked liked the sound of mandarin and German until I started hearing them often bc I was learning them

Recently I also gave Tandem and Hello Talk a try, and very nice people so far, mainly on hello talk, on tandem people are ghosts and don't seem too interested in actually improving their languages :(

But –spoiler alert– it seems they're not... But this –this can't be stronger than I am.
