Tried custom levels

characters more before the ending but I still enjoyed what was there. Other than that I thought the game was excellent and I’m so happy to see a full release for it, it definitely was worth the wait.

without being on a timer, but I’d probably be able to find some custom levels for that. My other gripe is that, as fantastic as it was, I do think the finale acts could’ve been padded out a bit more. It all happened a bit too quick for me and I would’ve liked a few more levels to flesh out the-

The main gripes I had tho were I wish the game had longer/more designated tutorial levels/segments to really understand this game’s mechanics bc it throws so much at you and granted the levels themselves teach you the mechanics pretty well but even then I would’ve like to have some focused practice-

And Lucky and his collection of songs were absolutely fantastic. One Slip Too Late debatably being my favorite song in the game even though I CANNOT get a good ranking to save my life. It’s excellent though and I do love the challenge it offers and I am getting better at it the more attempts I take

Act 5 was probably my favorite overall with the character it focused on as well as the new mechanics it introduced. Both the freeze beats (and burn beats although these appeared much less) and the “tonk-tonk”s I absolutely loved and looked forward to every time they showed up in future levels

The game is hard.. It’s so hard especially in those later acts man… but it’s SO much fun and the songs and gimmicks they introduce (except for Act 4’s) are fantastic and I loved learning them. The game’s sound design and how it helps keep you on beat (or throws you off) is also excellently done

“Beat” as in I toggled the option to prevent misses bc the final level was SO good to the point I wanted to see it all the way through before I learned it bc it would’ve taken me forever to complete it normally 😭
