Chicago had a day around 50 degrees and it felt like a spring day. It was great!

I was so good at teaching reading in my early career, administrators used to bring families to tour the school when they knew I was teaching my phonics lessons. As the years went on, teaching in the classroom became difficult and I lost the joy I once had! I’m happy to say, it’s back!

Food prep is done! Two different pans of Mac and cheese, (one with lactose free cheese), dressing, and sweet potatoes. Cakes and pies tomorrow morning. Family bringing chicken and rolls. Whew! I’m tired! Happy Thanksgiving! 🍁 #posttoblackbluesky

My 4.5 month of dachshund puppy goes to the door to go potty. She doesn’t ring the bell we’ve been practicing with. I ask if she had to go potty. She stares in “dog”. I take her out and she (eventually) goes potty. Dogs are funny. She could have just rung the bell. Pic for cuteness. #dogsofbluesky
