On stream I like to play Mystery games and RPGs, build Lego sets, and host quiz shows. Off stream I write stories, make games, and just generally have too many projects going at once.

Had a bit of trouble concentrating today, but still tried to get at least a little writing done.
Eventually things will go back to normal and I'll be able to just crank out chapters quickly like I used to. Eventually. 😔

The worst part about daylight savings time going into effect is that the daily Squardle resets at 9PM now instead of 8PM, making it harder for me to get it done before bed.

Every now and then I just think about the fact that, as an author, I breathe life into my characters, create them out of nothing, knowing fully well I am going to make them suffer because it'll make for an interesting story.

It makes me feel kinda bad, but like... the story tho.

Like, many of FEH's books have a very cool concept behind them that I would have loved to see explored in a mainline title, but because they're stuck in a mobile game, they can't really explore them properly and it comes off half-assed.
FE Shadows's world feels very much the same to me.

I need to go back to it to finish off reading the story eventually (especially now that the bunny girl is finally showing up), but currently my feelings on Fire Emblem Shadows are kind of similar to FEH, where it does a lot of things I find interesting, but they're stuck in a subpar mobile game.

Thinking about how Pikmin pre-4 was, like, vaguely post-apocalyptic, and then Pikmin 4 just came in going "Hey look, here's a perfectly well maintained house with working appliances. Where are the people? Don't worry about it. Have fun."
