You're absolutely right. I viewed attending as "This will do absolutely nothing, but it's practice for actions that could actually have an effect." (A better time for me to learn how to engage actively would have been 15-20 years ago, but at least I'm finally exiting the fugue state now... 🤦)

I appreciated you at Officers Row today.
