4 weeks since the landowner trashed the DIY and what have they done with the site? Nothing. Not cleared away the rubble, nor secured the place. No doubt it'll stay this way for time to come.

So long to the Sheffield DIY spot: skatepark, gig venue, social space.
As gutted as I am about the loss of a great skate spot, there's a bigger rage about derelict space in cities that can be used but isn't; and when it is, the owners go 'fuck you' and destroy what you've built. #YouNobleDiggers

A little sad to retire the Death 9 as I've had more fun skating it than (perhaps) any other deck, but it's in tatters. New shape, new things to learn; and I'm happy to give John Lucero my money.
The Indys and Spitfires remain for now. One variable at a time.
