That's 3.5 million people in the 1%, a surprisingly high quantity. I would think maybe 0.1% captured 30% of the nation's total wealth and the 0.9% remainder of that percentile are merely driving nice cars and eating steak once a week.

While I wouldnt put it past them, I guess it is quite hard to ask a person who speaks perfect English and has escaped persecution, why they don't seek safety in a non-English speaking country without feeling like a complete dick.

Yes, color films had low ISO, cost 2x-3x as much to purchase, and took longer to process. Most newspaper presses could not print in color and typical print resolution was a grainy 90dpi—or less! Color TV wasn't in every house. But magazines printed in color a few weeks later.
