Cheers, you can tell how much he enjoys playing! This was a gig in a local pub, the band got together a couple of hours before, no rehearsal, just a lot of talent. Put together by Andy Scott, who seems to know everybody in the business 😁

I can’t imagine what it must be like to have a job that you absolutely love doing, a job where you’re respected by your peers, a job where every day is a new experience, an opportunity to progress. A job that gives pleasure to others.

We had great fun trying out kit all over the NW, took ages to get the speakers we wanted. Took our old integrated Sugden amp in for repair, which despite being over 10 yrs old, Sugden did it for free, however the sneaky sod at the shop lent us some bigger better Sugden amps, which we ended up buying

Nice turntables! I currently have a 1957 Garrard 301 that belonged to my grandfather, and it is actually rather good. Gone are the days of £1500 cartridges, and my house is tiny, I don't need anything better, though if I won the lottery...

Hifi has always been a law of diminishing returns, the products get more expensive and the differences noticed become harder to hear.

You could buy a new top of the range Selmer Tenor Sax for the same price as 1.5mtr of speaker cable, longer cables are considerably more, 3.5m is £42k.
