🌿💧 On 11/25 we held the Traditional Valencian Irrigation Conference at Caixabank, featuring Jose Mª Martín Civantos.

His talk highlighted how historical irrigation systems shaped both landscapes and agricultural societies over time.

🌿 Women farmers explored the traditional irrigation canals of Caniles during a REVERTE project event for the International Day of Rural Women.

A space for learning, community building, and valuing traditional water management and the essential role of women in agriculture.💧🌱

🗣️ At the International Seminar on dried fruits and commercial speculation in the medieval Mediterranean, Blas Ramos and Alicia Hernández presented “Grapes in the Sun, Figs at the Market”, a sharp look at trade networks and speculative crops in the Cehel District.
