my cat likes to watch Mob Wives. It’s an older TV show. Most of them are smokers and can have husky voices. She learned to change her softer meow voice to a deep loud meow to mimic them.

My cat jumped into my lap and I hugged her. She purred and we sat for a while. I realized I felt real joy as I laughed at her. It made me realize that often I didn’t capture these fleeting moments and label my feeling.
