Our crowning jewel has to be our Winter Conference, which boasted
three days filled with exciting panels, workshops, and plenty of excursions around our host city of Norwich.

MEMRN 2025 Wrapped. Winter conference. Our crowning jewel of 2025: a three-day hybrid conference that saw 34 speakers presenting to an in-person and online audience that spanned over 30 academic institutions all over the world. Thanks to all our attendees! MEMRN 2025 Wrapped. Winter conference. In our workshops we developed our palaeography & Latin skills, as well as making our own medieval bestiaries, experimenting with creative writing, and visiting the nearby Sainsburys Centre for Visual Arts. Thank you to all our workshop facilitators! MEMRN 2025 Wrapped. Winter conference. We didn’t just have presentations and workshops though - we had activities too! We enjoyed walking tours, trips to archives, special collections, and historical places, plus a medieval combat club! Thank you to all the venues and staff who welcomed us! MEMRN 2025 Wrapped. We’re so proud of everything we’ve achieved this year and we hope you’ve enjoyed it as much as we have! We’ll be taking a programming break in January while we plan our events for 2026.
