My Gen0's birthday is exactly 1 week apart from mine. I'm going to get him a cake this year and call it my Canadian birthday.

Luckily we had family genealogy nerds who already assembled most of what I needed. I just needed to print it out and order a few originals.

Oh yes--as long as there was a birth or adoption on Canadian soil at some point--and not just transit back to Britain--I think people are working those Loyalists.
