Since it's partly typing I'm also wondering whether it's the autosave combined with you being in Australia? Weird that it's purely in the new editor pages then since both and old have the same text editors with autosave afaik. If you're tired of the subject I'll stfu btw :)

Lag while typing is an awful experience indeed. I also use Firefox; on MacOS, Windows, and Android. But no issues besides slightly longer initial screen loads on my phone. (Just trying to see if there's some obvious difference that we could mention to Dimi to help troubleshoot)

Nice to hear it made a difference! I do wonder what is up with the lag since I've heard it from multiple people but I don't experience it at all. TBF, my partner has provided us with an insanely good internet setup and my laptops are fairly beefy but even on my phone it's very doable.

Yeah, that and the current only dark mode are very disappointing; I'd expect them to care more about accessibility. And I'm assuming you've already got your browser set to some sort of reduced motion setting and that has made no difference?
