We are pleased to announce the Kiel-CEPR International Summer Fellowship 2025, offering short research stays at the Kiel Institute between April and September 2025.

Fellowship Overview
The fellowship provides a 1–4 week research stay at either the Kiel Institute headquarters on the scenic Baltic Sea in Kiel or the Kiel-CEPR Research Hub in central Berlin. During their stay, visitors will have the opportunity to:
Present their research in the Kiel-CEPR research seminar series
Engage with ongoing research at the Kiel Institute
Collaborate and network with Kiel Institute faculty, affiliated researchers and policymakers
Who should apply
We invite expressions of interest from scholars and professionals in fields aligned with the Kiel Institute's research centers and initiatives, including:
International macroeconomics
International finance
International trade
International development
Global transformations
Cross-cutting focus on Geoeconomics, China, and Africa
Visitors should be affiliated with academic or policy institutions outside of Germany. We are especially interested in fellowships that may lead to long-term collaborations with the Kiel Institute. We strongly encourage female researchers to apply as part of our commitment to improving gender balance in our programs.
