Why The Conversation published this piece of partisan commentary - rather than its usual dispassionate scientific analysis - is worrying. The article claims those who oppose "gender-affirming care" are "authoritarian". What they ignore as a factor is support for evidence and the scientific method.

Wrong. She is brave to point out the impossibility of men literally becoming women. People can, of course, express their gender in a variety of ways but men can't literally become women.

I don't hate people who want to express their "gender" in a variety of ways. But those trans activist thugs who claim, falsely, that men can literally become women are claiming something that is biologically impossible.
