Very are at a similar point as now reduced to £499, but the 20% off code takes it to £399.20. If you have a code from Google you should be able to claim the £100 cashback. However, Very's listing (their item 1601202393) is still a pre-order, showing delivery on 21st November.

Only 9 in stock online ! 🤯

Some risk to review, BUT...

Deal at Very for lower spec = £479.20 to pay after the 20% off. You're paying more outright + you're having to wait as it's a pre-order. If you have access to a Google Perks promotion code you can claim £100 cashback, hopefully meaning £379.20 'spent'.

Great! Which Chromebook? How's your claim progressing?

I'll wish most of us luck with selecting the right Chromebook model to claim for....

Linking back into my previous point, in their premium range the HP Elite Dragonfly Chromebook shows HP can definitely put together an excellent Chromebook.

I wouldn't pick one. All. Manufacturers make some decent kit in their top end ranges, for me that's why sometimes looking at entry level and mid range Chromebooks is more interesting - to see which areas they selected to try and save on cost.

They're certainly delivering in 2025 🎉

Nice problem to have. Where can you spend that, any retailer(??)

Let me know if that helps or if I've misunderstood your post.

Lenovo tend to do model ranges where some models are Chromebook Plus, + others aren't. Pros and cons for doing this. The model I've seen at Very is a Chromebook Plus. If you check the full model range via Lenovo: psref.lenovo.com/Product/Leno... check the 'Product' value to see if CBP or not. HTH.
